You're Pretty Cute Ellen

I'm re reading the book The Diary of Ellen since I gotta read something in front of the class and I'm going with this trusty book. I loved this scene because it was the first time she saw herself as a girl, and not a monster in her own eyes. She realized how cute and normal she looked without her sickness and I loved it.

I also loved how this painting came out. LOOK AT THOSE COLORS OR MY GAAAAWD     
I'm really proud of this painting, it took days but I don't regret it!   I'm just happy it came out okay since I had so much trouble with this one, I almost gave up on it because it looked awful but I tried something new AND I'M GLAD I NEVER GAVE UP ON IT
